The Golf Channel will be casting male golfers for its upcoming season of Big Break, a reality-based television show that pits top-notch golfers against each other as they vie to be the ultimate Big Break winner.
Auditions will take place at Papago Golf Course, the site of the Gateway Pro Tour’s Arizona Winter Series event No. 8, on Tuesday, March 20. If you think you have the game and personality to be a contestant and are looking for the biggest break of your career, fill out an application and join us on March 20. Online applications can be found here.
Signup sheets also will be available at the each of the next three GPT tournaments that will be held at Vista Verde (Feb. 21-23), Wigwam (Feb. 28-Mar. 1) and Corte Bella (Mar. 14-16).
A number of Gateway Pro Tour players have participated on the Big Break in past seasons, including the most recent Big Break Ireland, which featured three GPT alums – Mark Murphy, Julien Trudeau and Andy Walker. Murphy and Trudeau battled it out in the finals, with Murphy coming out on top as the Big Break champ, defeating Trudeau in the finals in 19 holes.
